Or rather a collection of pictures that I took while working..

Terry cloth teething toy.

I'm using a standard Gerber's baby washcloth and my bear's head mes. 5 cm (2"). I'm giving you a pretty big head pattern, so that you can change the size of the head if you need to. Use fabric scraps to stuff the head and the "paws".

I've started with a pair of children socks size  5-7. Yes, things like this happen all the time - new pair of socks and a hole.

As usual, all the excess fabric well be used for stuffing the toy.

Sock Elephant.

"Granny square" crochet ball.

Crochet 6 granny squares and double them with felt (if you want to make a ball). If you'd like to get a nice baby block - use non-stretch fabric. Assemble your squares as shown and stuff firmly. I use fabric scraps shredded to small pieces to staff some of my toys. This way I can recycle all of my leftover fabric and make toys nicely weighted.
