16" / 40.6 cm tall string & button jointed Baby Doll. Made out of a 100% cotton jersey. I'm still in process of making its outfit. The doll is based on a vintage doll pattern (dated early 1940s).
The pattern is not copyrighted and seems long forgotten. I love the simplicity of that doll. That is why I thought that it would be a good idea to give it a new start. I've re-drawn the pattern so that now it works for a stretch fabric. Also, I added new ears, arms and legs. Sculptured details give the Doll more character.
